100 WC Week 1 - The Old Man

The old man began to climb the cobbled stone hill. He had made this journey many times before but this was the hardest. With the aid of his walking stick, slowly he began to make his way to the top. As he descended he saw his old and tired clock shop. He reached the door and turned the key; in he went and listened to the beautiful sound of chimes, hands ticking and cuckoos chirping! He grabbed his duster and shuffled between the clock pieces. The mahogany wood was like silk to touch; the clock face sparkled in the sunlight. And then the noise stopped.
