100 WC Week 1 - The Street

And then the noise stopped. The street became as quiet as a church mouse. Hannah and Kelly carefully crept along the edge of the path. Kelly stumbled as the curb jumped out in front of her. From behind the frightened girls came a flash of light as bright as the shining sun. As fast as a world class sprinter, , the startled girls began to run  into the darkness in front of them. As they came to a sharp corner a car, painted lime green, raced by screaming for attention. Hannah screamed as loud as a referee's whistle, making Kelly jump out of her skin.
