100 WC Week 1 - Reaching the Summit

The mountains stood silently, glaring down at me with pure disdain. Trembling with fear, I prepare for the climb, the challenging journey to reach the summit. There are many diverse paths to reach the top, all attaining the one supreme goal. With trepidation I ascend, determined to conquer! My goal is in reach, the adrenaline kicks in. As fast as the hooves of a horse galloping, my heart is racing. The closer I get to the top, the noisier the heartbeat becomes. Finally, I reach my destination, I collapse and then the noise stopped. All is peaceful except for the wind, whispering in my ears.
