100 WC Week 2 - A Watery Grave
After a days fishing, the rickety old boat turned for home. They were making good time and then the sky grew darker. Suddenly lightning flashed and thunder cracked. As the boat was tossed from side to side by the rough, pounding waves the crew clung to the sides. They were petrified: stomachs churned; hearts raced; legs trembled. For hours the boat battled the storm and each time a wall of water crashed over the side, voices raised in prayer could be heard. Despite their pleas, the boat split in two and disappeared beneath the sea along with the helpless men to a watery grave.
