And then the sky grew darker, a blanket of smoke covered Manhattan. Screams echoed throughout the city. What was happening? What could this be?

Herds of people clambered to their feet and frantically hurtled in the direction which they deemed would bring safety. CRASH! Another plane hit. A deafening silence was felt throughout the world. Why? Who? What next? At this point we wondered if the sky would ever seem bright again. The destruction and devastation was horrific: loss of livelihoods; loss of life; loss of hope.

In that instant the second tower came crashing down. That was it; New York’s skyline would never be the same...
